Part-time Staff Accountant
The Edward E. Haddock, Jr. Family Foundation (EEHFF) is a private family foundation in Orlando, Florida committed to advancing restorative relationships between people and the planet through human dignity and environmental stewardship. The Staff Accountant supports the day-to-day finance operations of a mission-driven nonprofit organization, focusing on credit card and expense management, invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting support.

Responsibilities
Reconcile credit cards monthly
Communicate with staff to ensure all expense reports are submitted accurately and on time
Verify documentation, coding, and compliance with internal policies
Resolve discrepancies between credit card statements and expense reports
Communicate with vendors and staff to obtain and verify invoices
Review invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper documentation
Process approved invoices for payment following established workflows
Maintain organized, audit-ready records
Perform monthly bank account reconciliations
Assist with basic investment and account activity reporting as needed
Assist with preparation of financial statements, revenue reports, and internal reports
Support ad hoc reporting requests and special projects
Work closely with the Director of Accounting to follow established workflows and internal controls
Assist with documentation and continuous process improvements
Learn and operate within a multi-entity nonprofit structure
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Strong Excel skills required
Experience with credit card and expense reconciliations, bank reconciliations, invoice processing/accounts payable, and basic financial reporting
Comfortable communicating with staff and vendors
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
Ability to learn complex organizational structures and follow established workflows
Preferred
Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus but not required
