Research Technician I - Social Science
Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a full-time research assistant to work in the Learning and Development lab under Dr. Alexandra Decker. The role involves managing participant recruitment, data collection, and analyzing research data related to attention, learning, and memory in both children and adults.

Responsibilities
Recruiting, scheduling, and running participants through various research studies that are to be conducted in the lab
Supervising undergraduate research assistants
Writing code to implement computerized experiments for the research studies conducted in the lab and online and adapting those tasks across pilot studies
Analyzing behavioral, brain, and neurophysiological data for various research studies to be conducted in the lab
Literature reviews and revising and editing manuscripts
Updating IRBs (e.g., adding new researchers, and maintaining research protocols and renewal requests)
Purchasing lab equipment and other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent high school certification or combination of education and/or experience
No specific certification/professional license is required for this position
No specific work experience is required for this position
A driver's license is not required for this position
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in psychology, cognitive science, neuroscience, or related field
Previous experience with psychological or neuroscience research
Previous experience collecting behavioral or neuroimaging data
Familiarity with statistical (e.g., R, Python)
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
