LHH is recruiting for a commercial real estate debt division of a large nationally renown alternative asset manager. We are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join its team, where you will manage a portfolio of complex debt investments collateralized by commercial real estate properties.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain asset-level financial models and forecasts and underwrite assets
Monitor and analyze property-level financial statements (e.g., rent rolls, P&Ls, budgets)
Drive property-level and portfolio-level NOI growth
Maintain broad overview knowledge of major markets
Assess performance of the assets relative to original underwriting strategies, business plans and market conditions
Review and evaluate monthly / quarterly operating performance
Perform property inspections, provide inspection summaries and attend project meetings
Collaborate with acquisitions, development, and capital markets teams to inform exit strategies
Coordinate communications between borrowers, partners, syndicate/participant lenders and property managers

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or associated business degree
5+ years of experience of asset management in the Commercial Real Estate sector
Strong construction lending, development, or asset management experience in commercial real estate
Solid understanding of complex and challenging commercial real estate structured-finance transactions
Advanced proficiency in Excel
ARGUS a plus, but not required
