HVAC Facilities Engineer 2

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is the world's most experienced and reliable space launch company. The HVAC Facilities Engineer 2 will be responsible for the testing, operation, and maintenance of industrial process systems, including facility HVAC systems and Environmental Control Systems (ECS) at ULA Launch Sites.

Responsibilities

Design HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings
Perform heating and cooling load calculations
Select and specify HVAC equipment and components
Prepare technical drawings and documentation using CAD software
Ensure compliance with building codes and environmental regulations
Conduct site inspections and assessments
Collaborate with contractors and other engineers
Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems
Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues
Provide technical support during construction phases
Develop energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions
Manage project timelines and budgets

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university
2 years of relevant work experience
Previous HVAC experience in water cooling and air conditioning processes with knowledge of multiple system types and control
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, Power Point and Project

Preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize issues
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Excellent communication, writing and oral skills and have the ability to work with a wide range of team members including customers and subcontractors
Proficient knowledge in Computer Aided Design software such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
