Responsibilities

Own and manage a high-volume firewall/security ticket queue and resolve incidents in a large enterprise environment

Triage and respond to security threats and incidents involving Palo Alto firewalls and network perimeter

Improve system reliability and reduce backlog through disciplined workflow and proactive issue resolution

Act as a calm escalation point for complex and high-risk security issues

Design and implement automation using Palo Alto APIs, PAN-OS SDK, and Python scripting

Plan and execute upgrades, configuration management, and deployments across a large firewall estate

Manage enterprise-wide SSL/TLS certificates, PKI, DNS validation, and certificate rollouts

Collaborate with project teams (e.g. Citrix NetScaler, hardware refreshes), remove technical blockers, and ensure timely delivery

Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain clarity, alignment, and execution

Ensure documentation and configurations meet audit and compliance requirements
