The Assistant Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with GAAP and enhancing financial processes.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Prepares and consolidates monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance

Internal Controls: Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity

General Ledger: Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the Senior Vice President of Finance with budget preparation, analysis, and monitoring of accounts

Analysis: Perform various accounting analyses, cost variance analysis, and present findings to the SVP of Finance

Supervision: Under the direction of the SVP of Finance, oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general accounting teams

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency

Work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

BA/BS Degree

3+ years' experience in accounting or finance
