Responsibilities

Lead design projects from concept to launch — translating advanced technology into forms that are elegant, intuitive, and human
Create products that balance emotion and engineering — where every line, surface, and proportion has intent. Bring a sculptor’s eye and a maker’s curiosity to every project
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and CMF designers to ensure design integrity from concept through mass production. Your voice will shape key decisions at every stage
Push beyond what’s expected. Explore materials, finishes, and interactions that reflect TP-Link’s forward-thinking identity. Prototype, test, and refine until simplicity meets magic
Communicate your design intent through clear storytelling — sketches, renderings, mockups, and presentations that inspire both creative peers and non-design stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or a related field
6+ years of professional experience designing and launching consumer products
Strong foundation in user-centered design and manufacturing methods
Expert-level skills in 3D CAD (Rhino, SolidWorks) and rendering (KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Confident hands-on prototyping and model-making abilities
Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional form development, storytelling, and attention to detail
Passion for creating beautiful, meaningful products that make technology feel natural
Collaborative energy — open-minded, curious, and eager to learn
Ability to take feedback gracefully and turn insight into stronger ideas

Preferred

Experience in consumer electronics, smart home, or technology-driven product design preferred
