Responsibilities
Support and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Assist with sales tax, workers’ compensation, and other compliance filings
Maintain the general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with leadership
Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and internal controls
Collaborate with the Vice President and Controller on special projects and quarterly reporting
Develop a deep understanding of company operations and take on increasing responsibility with the goal of transitioning into the Controller role over time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Excel and Word proficiency required
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Desire and capacity to grow into a leadership role
Ability to take and pass a background check
Preferred
Experience with Global Shop Solutions or similar software a plus
