Responsibilities

Develop and maintain efficient processes for general and cost accounting activities
Prepare, record, reconcile, and report financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies and principles
Produce and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments
Validate ERP data integrity through analysis, audits, and coordination with inventory control, production, and work order processing
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, system requirements, and internal controls aligned with corporate standards
Maintain robust internal controls and support inventory management by coordinating physical inventories
Provide financial support through forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Analyze production costs, allocate overhead, and maintain standard cost models to ensure accurate product costing
Monitor and report cost variances, identify drivers, and recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with operations and inventory teams to validate cost data and ensure alignment with recorded system data
Assist in margin analysis and profitability studies for products, projects, or business units

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 2-4 years of business finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly
Advanced knowledge of general and cost accounting principles
High integrity with a focus on maintaining a strong control environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; adept at working with complex data
Excellent communications, planning and organizational skills
Highly organized, strongly analytical, and have a keen attention to detail and ability to question the facts
Highly adaptable and work effectively in teams and outside the formal line of authority to accomplish organizational goals

Preferred

Experience with ERP and financial systems preferred and proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications
Willingness to travel, including occasional international trips
