Tax/Executive Compensation Attorney
LHH is working with a reputable midsize AmLaw200 firm in their search for a Tax/Executive Compensation attorney. This unique role incorporates both traditional transactional tax law and executive compensation work, supporting a wide range of corporate transactions.
Responsibilities
Work on advising clients on tax issues related to complex corporate work such as mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, fund formations, real estate investments, and cross-border investments
Counsel clients on executive compensation matters, including deferred compensation, tax-qualified retirement plans, and employee benefits
Ability to closely analyze IRC and related regulations is needed
Qualification
Required
At least two years of law firm experience
Admitted to the New York bar
Ability to closely analyze IRC and related regulations
Work on advising clients on tax issues related to complex corporate work such as mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, fund formations, real estate investments, and cross-border investments
Counsel clients on executive compensation matters, including deferred compensation, tax-qualified retirement plans, and employee benefits
Preferred
LL.M in tax is preferred (but not required)
