Service Technician II
Travers Mechanical is seeking a Service Technician II who is skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment. The role involves troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring high standards of safety, and providing exceptional customer service while documenting work accurately.

Responsibilities
Service a wide range of equipment using various troubleshooting techniques for all sizes of commercial package units, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, and/or VRF systems
Assist, when needed, in the service of chillers, boilers, control valves, and cooling towers on supervised projects
Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
Provide all information from each service call to the dispatcher before leaving job site and document work by accurately completing paperwork and maintaining files
Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions
Displays team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime, on-call rotation and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays
Take an active role to ensure a level of customer satisfaction that is above and beyond customer expectations
On a rotational basis, be available to work weekends and evenings for emergency service needs of our customers
Must have a good driving record and possess a valid driver's license and EPA license
Ability to frequently lift 30lbs and occasionally lift 50lbs
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
Qualification
Required
EPA certification
more than 3 years' experience in the field of HVAC service and repair
qualified and skilled in maintaining and servicing commercial grade HVAC equipment including but not limited to unitary products up to 50-ton package units, boilers, and heat exchangers without supervision
experience with a wide range of equipment using various troubleshooting techniques for all sizes of commercial package units, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, and/or VRF systems
ability to assist in the service of chillers, boilers, control valves, and cooling towers on supervised projects
uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
