Responsibilities
Contacting prospects to set up showroom visits
Conducting showroom tours for member prospects and walk-in visitors
Maintaining a level of professional knowledge about flooring products in order to better sell to and service members and their clients
Assisting clients in selecting flooring, processing orders and confirming material arrival/delivery with members
Assisting with showroom promotions and events
Re-establishing communication with former members who have not recently purchased from ProSource
Following up with members regarding orders, estimates, and quotes
Qualification
Required
At least one year of retail or wholesale sales experience
High school diploma
General knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and general internet competency
Experience in design sales with a proven track record of success in growing a territory
Strong multitasking abilities
Effective communication skills to convey complex information
Known for follow-up abilities
Ability to establish rapport and credibility with a wide range of customers
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Experience in design sales is a huge plus
Ability to commute to Des Moines, IA 50329
Ability to relocate to Des Moines, IA 50329 before starting work
