Responsibilities
Performing soil splitting also includes performing a moisture check on samples as required
This will also require weighing out the sample mass using a balance and recording the information in LIMS
Performing water sample splitting will require measuring water samples out in milliliters
Additional duties will include performing sample discard on various bottle types by following a program in LIMS that indicates when a sample is ready for disposal
The Sample Splitter will also be responsible to help move empty coolers
Forklift operation may be required, which would include training and certification as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or Sponsorship
Preferred
Attention to detail
Basic computers skills including data entry
Ability to use a balance and measure using milliliters
Prior forklift experience is a plus
Prior experience working with samples, specifically environmental samples, is a plus
