Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications
Perform COBOL development for batch and online programs
Work extensively with IMS (DB/DC) and DB2 databases
Write and maintain JCL for batch processing and scheduling
Analyze production issues and perform root cause analysis
Independently debug and resolve complex application issues
Participate in monthly on-call rotations
Ensure high-quality deliverables with zero-defect standards
Collaborate with cross-functional and business teams
Qualification
Required
10+ years of Mainframe Application Development
Strong expertise in COBOL
Hands-on experience with IMS DB/DC
Strong experience with DB2
Advanced knowledge of JCL
Preferred
Strong SQL for query writing and optimization
Assembler programming experience
Domain experience in Supply Chain / Transportation systems
