Strategic Project Manager

Responsibilities
Meet regularly with department heads, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to assess current workflows, identify gaps, and design improved future-state workflows
Create professional-grade SOPs, process maps, swimlane diagrams, technical instructions, and policy documentation to support new systems and business practices
Develop standardized documentation templates and maintain a centralized SOP/workflow repository to ensure accuracy and version control
Translate complex processes into clear, user-friendly documentation suitable for technical and non-technical audiences
Conduct analysis of operational, financial, and performance datasets to identify trends, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Build and maintain dashboards, KPI scorecards, and performance reports using Excel, Power BI, and SAP data sources
Provide data-driven recommendations that support decision-making across leadership, operations, customer support, finance, and product teams
Support the evaluation of new processes by defining metrics, measuring outcomes, and presenting insights to stakeholders
Partner with global SAP/S4HANA teams to ensure business processes, SOPs, and workflow documentation align with system configurations
Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training readiness, and change-management requirements associated with the SAP transition
Document system-enabled workflows, role-based responsibilities, and process changes driven by SAP
Lead change-management efforts to help teams adopt new workflows, processes, and technology
Develop communication plans, training materials, and post-deployment support documentation
Serve as a liaison between leadership and operational teams to ensure alignment and engagement
Support transformation of our business model from hardware-focused to SaaS and recurring revenue–based offerings
Assist in designing pricing models, financial structures, and customer lifecycle support processes
Identify and eliminate barriers to payment and recurring revenue collection
Manage diverse internal initiatives, ranging from departmental process improvements to enterprise-level system implementations
Guide cross-functional teams through full project lifecycles, from planning and discovery through execution, rollout, and post-launch validation
Oversee integration of external solutions acquired or adopted through business-expansion initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
PMP or ITIL certification
Proven track record in process design, data analysis, and technical writing
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data visualization/reporting tools
Ability to interpret complex datasets, build analytical models, and present insights to leadership
Strong understanding of KPIs, business performance metrics, ROI measurement, and forecasting
Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, comprehensive documentation including SOPs, workflows, technical guides, and business process instructions
Strong attention to detail with consistent voice, formatting, and documentation standards
Proven experience leading complex cross-departmental projects with diverse timelines and scopes
Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations
Ability to influence without authority, build consensus, and drive process adoption across multiple departments
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking capability
Solutions-oriented mindset with strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones and in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience in SAP/S4HANA environments
