Responsibilities
Preparing and developing detailed Revit models of Control Systems relating to Electrical building systems
Developing & publishing construction documentation for Control Systems relating to Electrical designs in a fast-paced environment to meet scheduled deliverables
Updating and modifying the new Controls models and construction documents as required after first of a kind (FOAK) creation
Assist with creating and maintaining standard regional BIM templates
Participate in design coordination meetings with other trades for clash detection and resolution
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
Assist the project team with information exchange processes between internal and external customers
Provide coordination support for information requests during construction phases
Qualification
Required
5+ years of design/engineering experience of Controls Electrical building systems for mission critical facilities
4+ years' experience using Revit for producing engineering BIM models and construction drawings
Practical knowledge and understanding of Controls, Electrical codes (IPC, or UPC) and safety regulations
Preferred
5+ years of experience with design of Data Centers, Mission Critical Facilities, Hospital, Schools, or highly complex Commercial Tower facilities
Ability to evaluate the constructability of new technologies and determine construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
To perform and present business case analysis
Ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find innovative solutions prior to and during the construction process to reduce costs without negative impacts on quality or reliability
