Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of high-availability Java applications supporting global payment processing platforms
Architect and guide teams in building scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event-driven patterns
Provide technical leadership across payment transaction flows including authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS and data protection requirements
Drive code quality, best practices, and design standards through reviews, mentoring, and technical governance
Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile/Scrum environments to deliver business outcomes
Oversee performance optimization, scalability, and resiliency for high-volume, low-latency payment systems
Support integration with payment gateways, card networks, ACH, and third-party financial services
Lead production support and incident resolution, ensuring minimal downtime for mission-critical services
