Computing Administrative Intern - Summer 2026
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) is dedicated to strengthening the United States’ security by applying expertise to create innovative solutions. The Administrative Intern role offers hands-on experience in a variety of administrative tasks, contributing to the efficiency and success of daily operations within the Computing Principal Associate Directorate.

Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating events with multiple components, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively
Represent the administrative staff in daily matters by gathering, clarifying, and disseminating information
Collaborate with administrative staff on various projects and activities, providing support as needed to achieve project goals
Perform a range of administrative tasks that may include data entry, scheduling, and document preparation, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible to access the Laboratory in compliance with Section 3112 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). See Additional Information section below for details
Currently enrolled as a college or university student in good standing at an accredited institution, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field
Ability to plan, analyze, and execute tasks effectively
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain concepts clearly
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute positively to group dynamics
GPA of 3.0 or above
