Responsibilities
Maintain & develop new API frameworks in technologies such as REST and gRPC
Help pivot toward serverless, FaaS based, architectures
Build & manage platforms to help teams across the company quickly deploy A2A services
Collaborate with technology peers and leaders to gain strategic alignment
Foster innovation and experimentation
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on software development experience
Proficient in one or more programming languages or platforms, with practical coding experience
Exposure to application design, software development methodologies, and automated testing practices
General understanding of distributed (multi-tiered) systems, core algorithms, and relational databases
Solid grasp of object-oriented design principles and experience coding in a variety of languages
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Able to understand and use complex data structures and associated components
Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents applications
Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work
Has understanding of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
Hands on experience in some of the following: Java, Python, Go, React, Envoy, gRPC, ProtoBuf, JSON, CouchBase, Cassandra, Redis, Consul, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Drools, Elastic Stack, Kafka, Spark
