Responsibilities

Manage projects that implement automation in DDP manufacturing that reduces cost, SLH, cycle time, and quality defects
Prepare project plan and coordinate the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation
Maintains project plan to detail and easily explain status, resources, and next steps
Drive project deliverables and task details by through the use reports, tracking charts and, checklists
Aligns the activities of resources internal to the business unit to achieve on-time and within budget performance objectives for the project
Monitors, and reports to the business unit on project's progress and cost performance
Participate on intra business unit design teams to complete projects
Contribute to the team's technical development in the pursuit of the team's project goals
Research causes to project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions for resolution

Required

Technical understanding of Applied Materials products and manufacturing techniques
Project management
Automation experience
Able to communicate project goals, status, and results clearly and concisely to upper management through email, slides, and presentations
Understands Applied Materials manufacturing requirements and processes
Able to drive projects and get help from indirect reports
Drive change in manufacturing
Solves complex problems applying newer technologies to automate manufacturing processes
Work with AGT group to get resources and support for ideas
Work with other BUs on overlapping projects to find the best solution and avoid work duplication
