Responsibilities

Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities
Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and compliance efforts
Assist with the preparation tax provision calculations and related documentation
Maintain accurate and organized client files and records
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on tax matters
Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance service delivery
Participate in professional development and continuing education programs to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
0-2 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance (internship experience considered)
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Strong ethical standards and professional demeanor

Preferred

Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus
