Responsibilities
Review and reconcile loan histories across multiple accounts to identify claimable advances
Apply and maintain working knowledge of investor, insurer, and agency guidelines (FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, VA, RHS, etc.)
Compile advances, invoices, and supporting documentation into complete, compliant claim packages
Submit claims through the appropriate internal and government systems to request reimbursement
Reconcile claim proceeds and expenses written off to ensure all eligible amounts are recovered
Accurately post claim funds to the correct accounts and advances
Partner with internal teams to identify process gaps and provide feedback to improve systems and workflows
Qualification
Required
2+ years Mortgage experience filing claims with Freddie/Fanny Mae
Filing claims when homes are going through Foreclosure
