MasTec Utility Services delivers critical infrastructure construction and engineering services for power delivery, gas, and water customers. The Streetlight Repair Technician will perform field repairs on streetlighting infrastructure, troubleshoot outages, and maintain safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Commitment to safety
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of streetlight systems and associated equipment
Safely operate and maneuver a digger derrick and/or bucket truck to access and repair overhead infrastructure
Set poles, run cable, connect wires, and install related hardware per system specifications
Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are secured and transported to the job site
Verify and comply with all safety requirements, company policies, and county/city requirements
Accurately document completed work, job site conditions, and materials used
Communicate effectively with dispatches, supervisors, and customers as needed to report progress, issues, and resolutions
Follow all applicable safety regulations and company/customer-specific protocols

Qualification

Class A CDLDigger Derrick certificationStreetlight system maintenanceConcrete polesSafety commitmentEffective communication

Required

High school diploma, or equivalent
2 years of experience
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required
Digger Derrick certification is required
Experience setting up 45 Ft. concrete poles is required

Preferred

5 or more years of experience, including extensive experience supervising and training skilled labor
