Mid LevelBIG#1 Motorsports is seeking a high-energy, highly organized Event Coordinator & Social Media Director to plan and execute events that drive foot traffic and enhance community engagement while managing their social media presence. The role involves coordinating in-store and off-site events, managing timelines and budgets, and creating engaging content for various social media platforms.

Responsibilities
Plan and execute in-store events, promotions, community partnerships, and off-site events/trade shows
Manage event timelines, budgets, checklists, vendor coordination, and day-of logistics
Coordinate signage, giveaways, décor, staffing needs, and set-up/tear-down
Work with leadership and sales teams to align events with business goals (traffic, leads, deposits, sales)
Track results and recap event performance (what worked, what to improve)
Create and manage a content calendar across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Capture content (photos/video) on-site: inventory spotlights, behind-the-scenes, staff moments, customer wins, event promo
Write captions, schedule posts, manage basic community engagement, and maintain brand voice
Collaborate with sales/marketing to promote specials, launches, and seasonal campaigns
Monitor analytics and report monthly insights (growth, engagement, top-performing content)
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in event planning/coordination and social media/content creation
Strong project management skills: timelines, details, follow-through, and calm under pressure
Comfortable being 'on the floor' capturing content and interacting with customers and staff
Solid writing skills and an eye for what looks good online
Experience with tools like: Canva, Meta Business Suite and basic analytics
Reliable transportation and ability to attend occasional nights/weekends for events
Preferred
Experience in retail, dealerships, hospitality, or fast-paced customer-facing environments
