Responsibilities
Delivering technical presentations and undertaking direct sales activities with known customers
Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical stakeholders within known customers
Providing pre-sales support including solution proposals, technical documentation, and pricing
Working closely with the company’s US sales partners to engage with customers and build confidence in the company’s offerings through your ability to present credible technical solutions
Organising and leading sales demonstrations to customers in collaboration with the various company business groups
Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits across North America
Qualification
Required
Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with five years' experience in the automotive, aerospace/defense or power distribution sectors
Interest in moving into a technical sales role or already in a customer facing or support position
Technical credibility/background in electrical or mechanical engineering degree and ideally relevant work experience
At least 5 years of engineering experience in automotive, and ideally with some customer facing exposure
Strong communication, presentation, and the confidence to negotiate and influence positive outcomes
A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Willingness to undertake frequent domestic travel
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Account management or sales related experience would be highly regarded, although training will be provided
