They are seeking an experienced Estimator who will be responsible for assembling material and labor costs, conducting subcontractor solicitation, and ensuring the accuracy of estimates for construction projects.

Responsibilities

Assemble material and labor costs for clients and proposals for construction projects

Conduct subcontractor solicitation and pre-qualification tasks

Analyze and insert specialty and standard equipment and material pricing into the estimate

Confirm our estimate meets the schedule protocol and specifications of scope

Evaluate and condition subcontractor and supplier quotes

Research cost history and update data base(s)

Provide preliminary pricing for indirect and general conditions

Responsible for reviewing specialty and standard equipment pricing

Review plans and specifications for completion of estimates

Review commercial terms and conditions for cost and risk items and present concerns to lead estimator

Responsible for the accuracy and validity of estimate clarifications and assumptions

Analyze and price value engineering for submission

All other duties as assigned

Required

2 plus years of experience as an estimator in electrical construction or equivalent experience

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or an equivalent degree; Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills

Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders

Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills

Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
