Responsibilities

Operate CNC Swiss lathes, ensuring proper tooling and machine calibration for each job
Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to produce precise parts
Program CNC machines using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and manual G-code adjustments to optimize machining processes
Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions
Perform electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations when required for complex features or hard materials
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and tooling are properly stored and maintained
Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles
Troubleshoot machining issues promptly using mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, and welding skills as needed to resolve defects or equipment malfunctions
Assist in assembly processes when necessary, ensuring parts meet quality standards before final inspection or shipment
