Responsibilities
Enhance efficiency and effectiveness of global tax operations using models and software tools
Provide data management including upkeep of tax software data hierarchies and mappings
Support the long-term tax technology roadmap by assisting in software implementations
Liaise with relevant and associated areas and groups within the business process to establish, support and maintain business relationships and organizational effectiveness
This position may assist with preparation of the quarterly tax provision, tax footnote, annual tax compliance and ad hoc tax planning projects on an as-needed basis
Qualification
Required
3+ years public accounting corporate tax technology or tax provisioning experience
Familiarity with global tax provisioning tools such as Longview, OneSource, or Corptax
Data analysis and data extraction skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to manage deadlines and demonstrate effective time management
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a strong operational focus
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems or related field
CPA certification preferred
Preferred
Experience with process improvement & data visualization through leveraging technology tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, etc
Strong understanding of tax systems and interfaces
Knowledge and experience with ERPs such as Workday
Experience in property, casualty and/or mortgage insurance or reinsurance operations
Experience in international tax and non-US parent company
