Responsibilities
Lead technical accounting research and documentation for complex transactions (ASC 606, software capitalization, leases, M&A, impairments, and other U.S. GAAP topics)
Review commercial contracts and assess appropriate accounting treatment
Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
Prepare financial statement disclosures and technical memos
Act as the primary contact for external auditors
Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Product teams on accounting matters
Qualification
Required
CPA required
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with deep expertise in ASC 606
Proven ability to write technical accounting memoranda
Preferred
Big 4 public accounting experience at Manager level or higher preferred
Software or SaaS industry experience
ERP experience preferred (NetSuite a plus)
