Responsibilities
Provide engineering and technical support on mass timber design projects, including concept design, inspection and installation, evaluation, repair, and rehabilitation of projects with durability issues
Design specific elements and advise on project key scope items, including structural engineering, durability, constructability, and vibration performance
Carry out structural calculations including software simulation of complex structural behavior
Conduct measurement and post-processing of structural vibration
Lead retrofit design scope and structural analysis for evaluation, repair, and rehabilitation of existing reinforced concrete buildings
Execute vibration testing and analysis
Design vibration mitigation systems, including structural modifications and supplemental damping solutions
Provide technical support and guidance on the buckling and stability of slender steel structures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience
Provide engineering and technical support on mass timber design projects, including concept design, inspection and installation, evaluation, repair, and rehabilitation of projects with durability issues
Design specific elements and advise on project key scope items, including structural engineering, durability, constructability, and vibration performance
Carry out structural calculations including software simulation of complex structural behavior

Lead retrofit design scope and structural analysis for evaluation, repair, and rehabilitation of existing reinforced concrete buildings
