Director of Partnership Sales
Tribe Gaming is the leading mobile gaming content collective, founded in 2017 to drive the growth of mobile gaming media, entertainment, and esports. They are seeking an experienced Director of Partnership Sales to generate revenue and build strong partnerships while managing and mentoring a sales team.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and manage a the Brand Partnership Sales and Partnership Operations team, driving performance and ensuring individual sales goals are accomplished
Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to the sales team, helping them grow their skills and achieve their full potential
Create and implement performance metrics to monitor and improve the effectiveness of the sales team
Lead the development of the company’s sales strategy in order to achieve revenue goals
Identify new revenue opportunities and strategically position Tribe Gaming’s offerings to prospective clients and partners
Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and market trends
Actively participate in the sales process, maintaining and and growing an individual pipeline of sales opportunities in order to meet and exceed revenue targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business partnerships
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, events, and finance, to ensure the successful execution of sales agreements
Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape in order to recommend innovative sales approaches
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership roles within the gaming, media, or technology industries
Strong track record of direct brand partnership sales, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for developing sales talent
Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate and execute effective sales strategies
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Results-driven with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets
Local to Austin, TX, with the ability to come into the office 3+ days per week
