Responsibilities

Work with Production Manager to plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of product and orders through production

Support scheduling of CNC machines with Production Manager, Production Supervisors, and CNC Team Leaders

Support scheduling of secondary operations with Quality Manager and Team Leaders

Provide troubleshooting support for Swiss machines and CNC lathes

Setup and operate Swiss machines and CNC lathes as necessary

Provide supervisory duties as required

Maintain and meet production schedules and quality requirements

Evaluate employee performance including productivity and quality

Identify and help implement process improvements for production and quality

Manage CNC schedule and secondary operation schedules to meet customer commitments

Review tooling, fixtures, gages, raw material, and other consumables for production jobs/orders

Review travelers, drawings, work aids and work instructions for technical accuracy

Make management aware of any quality, production, maintenance issues and assist in troubleshooting

Proficient in use of microscopes, micrometers, optical comparators and all MT&E

Assist in writing work aids and work instructions as required

Support training and development plans for all production personnel

Setup and operate CNC lathes and Swiss machines as necessary
