Outside Sales Representative
VMAC is seeking a driven, mechanically minded sales professional who excels in building relationships and solving real-world problems. The role involves nurturing customer relationships, conducting site visits, and matching customer needs with appropriate products or solutions while achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Grow and nurture customer relationships
Hit the road for site visits, demos, and consultations
Match customer needs with the right products or custom solutions
Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer service
Track market trends and uncover new opportunities
Build proposals, quotes, and contracts
Crush monthly and quarterly sales targets
Keep CRM records tight and accurate
Represent the team at regional and national trade shows
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience in service trucks, heavy equipment, or similar industries
Strong mechanical understanding (hydraulics, industrial components, etc.)
Solid communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel across your territory
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
A self-starter mindset with serious accountability
Preferred
Technical or vocational training in mechanics or engineering
A strong network in construction, mining, transportation, or municipal sectors
Experience selling custom-built or aftermarket equipment
