Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
U.S. citizenship is required
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Preferred
Mechanical Engineering Design
Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill Software
Engineering background in the Undersea Domain
Knowledge of autonomous/unmanned undersea vehicle (AUV/UUV) technologies, principles, theories, and concepts
Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Creative thinker ready to design and develop innovative solutions from conception to production
