Responsibilities

Deliver actionable analytics and insights to support manufacturer relations, strategic sourcing, and data-driven decision making across BSMR

Lead the development and maintenance of Databricks platforms for BSMR operations and analytics

Build harmonized data assets through HANA to enable integrated business intelligence

Design and maintain Retool applications that provide insights, auditing, and financial analysis, supporting Account Managers and Account Directors in negotiation and account management activities

Work closely with McKesson Technology to ensure the reliability, security, and ongoing enhancement of Retool, Databricks, and HANA platforms, including upgrades, user acceptance testing, and AI integration

Collaborate with AIM28 initiative analysts and data scientists to identify short-term opportunities and develop scalable, AI-driven solutions that advance operational excellence

Partner with the product strategy team to analyze brand sourcing profitability and support lever-based negotiation modeling

Mentor and train junior analysts, fostering growth in data knowledge, analytics tools, and business insights

Required

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience

4-year degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience

7+ years of experience in data analysis

Supply Chain & Business Acumen: Deep understanding of supply chain economics and their impact on manufacturer relations, strategic sourcing, and negotiation modeling

Core Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, data mining, and analytics; hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Retool, HANA, and integrated data platforms

Data Architecture & Engineering: Expertise in building and maintaining scalable data infrastructure, harmonized data assets, and AI-driven analytics solutions within cloud-based analytics environments

Visualization & Application Development: Strong skills in data visualization and application development using tools such as Retool, Tableau, and Power BI

Financial & Operational Insight: Working knowledge of business functions and financial data

Collaboration & Leadership: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (McKesson Technology, Product Strategy, Finance) and demonstrated capability to mentor and train junior analysts in analytics tools, programming, and business insights

Strategic & Innovative Mindset: A proactive mindset with the creativity to connect data across the enterprise, architect innovative solutions, and optimize existing capabilities
