Contract Analyst for Central Admin in NE Portland

Responsibilities
Responsible for active management of contracted supply and analyzing the details of business contracts to ensure the terms are advantageous and that management is informed of terms and expectations for both parties
Contracts data must be organized and maintained in a manner that facilitates the organization's contract workflow and approval processes, supports accurate analysis, execution, notifications, and reporting
Requires having an in-depth working knowledge of practices, laws, and regulations pertaining to contract and vendor management
Develops, reviews, and finalizes contracts. Monitors contract expiration dates. Facilitates contract meetings
Manages pricing and communicates savings opportunities to the management team
Performs vendor audits and expenditure assessments. Analyzes and monitors expenditures across the organization
Maintains contract database and develops data analytics
Researches and analyzes opportunities for improving contract workflows
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field. Job-specific experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education
Minimum of two (2) years contract and/or vendor management experience is required
Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare contracts review work experience is required
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and ENVI (MMIS)
Strong communication, negotiation, financial, technical, and analytic skills
Must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and thorough
Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask
Excellent attendance and work ethic
Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members
A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety
Preferred
CPCM or CPM
