Site Reliability Engineer Intern
Oracle is a world leader in cloud solutions, and they are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer Intern to ensure the availability of cloud services. In this role, you will work in a DevOps team, assisting with both operations and development tasks to enhance cloud reliability.

Responsibilities
Administer production servers/services and test system health
Offer mitigation paths to accelerate the process of system recovery
Work with system monitoring and alerting tools to identify trouble source
Execute defined SOPs to avoid or reduce event impact duration
Undertake Incident Command training and experience working on an on-call rotation
Fulfill tickets from internal customers related to the management of the Oracle Cloud Platform
Develop scripts to enhance cloud reliability and/or automation
Participate in an agile development scrum to fulfil user stories
Define your own sprint goals and collaborate on the outcomes of Oracle Cloud Service Centre initiatives and quarterly objectives
Coordinate with other scrum teams to fulfil the development objectives set out for the Oracle Cloud Service Centre
Embedding within other development teams
Using tools to show key performance indicators within the business to ensure targets are met
Qualification
Required
Students that have an expected graduation date between Dec 2026 and May 2027
Studying for a University degree in Computer Science, IT, or Technical based disciplines
Reside in the United States and attend a university in the US

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
