Responsibilities
Scheduling chick placement and scheduling birds for processing according to weight in relation to what the plant needs communicating with the growers
Giving advice on management practices and monitoring various feeding and health programs for broilers
Monitoring cost reports, plant production, DOA s, etc
Comparing the previous weeks performance and working with accounting personnel to ensure the accuracy and status of all broiler settlements
Ensuring all USDA, NAE, NAO, AWB, and other government regulations are followed in the production of broilers
Meeting with and encouraging broiler technical advisors on a weekly basis working directly with equipment companies in order to ensure efficient lay out of equipment and performing other responsibilities as the need arises
Qualification
Required
Bachelor s degree or equivalent
3 plus years with grow out experience
Elementary computer skills such as creating MS Excel worksheets, Word documents, checking electronic mail
This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department of work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities
