Responsibilities
Set the strategic direction for lifestyle coverage aligned with organizational mission and priorities
Identify themes, trends, and story opportunities across culture, family, health, faith, and related topics
Oversee lifestyle stories from pitch through publication, ensuring strong narrative structure and tone
Edit content to meet editorial standards for accuracy, voice, and responsible framing
Manage and guide lifestyle writers and contributors, providing feedback and editorial direction
Collaborate with newsroom, homepage, and audience teams to coordinate publication and distribution
Monitor audience engagement and performance metrics to inform coverage decisions and strategy
Qualification
Required
Strong editorial judgment and storytelling instincts
Experience editing and managing writers or contributors
Understanding of lifestyle, cultural, and human-interest topics
Ability to balance mission alignment with broad audience appeal
Strong organizational and deadline-management skills
Preferred
Background in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field
