New Grad, Entry LevelVictory Awning, a leading provider of custom canopies and outdoor shade solutions, is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for awning and canopy installations, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all drawings.

Responsibilities
Create Detailed Technical Drawings: Use CAD software to develop precise and accurate technical drawings for custom awning designs based on project specifications
Collaborate with Project Teams : Work closely with project managers, designers, and the production team to ensure that designs align with client requirements, safety standards, and building codes
Modify & Update Drawings: Review and update existing designs to accommodate any design changes, client requests, or site-specific factors. Ensure all revisions are documented and communicated effectively
Prepare Material Lists: Generate material lists and specifications based on design drawings to support the production and installation teams
Client Support & Visualization: Provide design assistance to the sales team by preparing drawings and visualizations for client proposals and presentations
Ensure Accuracy & Timeliness: Ensure that all drawings are completed in a timely manner and meet the company’s quality standards
Graphics: Develop, print, and apply graphics as part of project installation, ensuring quality and consistency
Assist Sewing Department: Support the sewing department by cutting awning patterns, cabana covers, and shade sails using the Patternsmith CNC machine
Qualification
Required
Experience with CAD software is required
Preferred
An Associates degree or certification in Drafting in a related field is preferred
Equivalent work experience in a related role may also be considered
Experience with awnings, canopies, shade structures, or custom installations is a plus but not required
