Hupp Electric Motors is seeking a Rewind Technician to join their Rewind Department. The role involves inspecting and testing electromechanical equipment, performing rewinding tasks, and ensuring quality service for customers.

Responsibilities
Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
Test condition of windings according to EASA AR100
Inspect, test, and remove existing windings from electromechanical equipment
Record rewind data from old equipment
Replicate data taken to install new windings and perform final testing before sealing equipment to send back into service
Qualification
Required
Preferred minimum level of education: high school diploma
Understand basic mathematics
Basic mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow company safety procedures
Ability to understand, perform and retain various skill-related training
Availability to complete a five-year, hands-on apprenticeship with one year first shift introductory training
Availability to work overtime hours when needed along with a monthly rotating weekend on-call schedule
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs; talk and hear
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Clearly see 20+feet with or without corrective lenses
Have ability for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
