They are seeking a Warehouse and Quality Inspection Specialist who will be responsible for performing mechanical and visual inspections of hardware and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

Receives material coming into the building from vendors, customers, or other warehouses accurately and promptly

Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking the product against the packing list

Processes paperwork regarding UPS shipments, including verifying that the merchandise to be shipped is correct, applying the correct UPS postage tape, following customer shipping instructions, and ensuring the shipment when necessary

Documents, tags, controls, and segregates product in accordance with established procedures

Uses a controlled stamp to indicate product acceptance and certificate accuracy

Performs AQL sample lot inspections of drawing characteristics

Inspects inbound & outbound materials for conformance, and supplier documentation, manufacture/special process certifications

Supports internal and external ISO audits to initiate discrepancy reports and hold notices

Manages QC equipment for 3 rd party calibration and Non-Conforming Material Receipt (NCMR) Cage Management

Follows quality processes, ISO facility internal procurement clauses, and internal work instructions to review & interpret customer requirements and supplier quality documentation

Required

High school diploma or GED

Valid driver's license

Previous experience in inspection or quality control

Ability to meet physical demands associated with a warehouse environment, including standing continuously, lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted, and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity

Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers

Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks to aid in satisfying customer requirements
