Supplier Quality Manager

The Boeing Company is a leading aerospace manufacturer, and they are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to join their Supplier Quality Team in Puget Sound. Responsibilities

Lead and manage a diverse team of employees responsible for Processing of Supplier Nonconformance Notifications (SNN). Reviewing and classifying notifications to ensure they are ready for processing; dispositioning and approving nonconformance records
Develop and implement effective business plans, policies, and procedures aimed at enhancing performance and quality outcomes
Create and execute organizational and technical strategies that promote continuous improvement and operational excellence
Provide education and coaching on the Quality System, empowering team members to understand and uphold quality standards
Acquire and manage resources efficiently, leading initiatives that drive process improvements and optimize performance
Build and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports to foster collaboration and success
Inspire, develop, and motivate employees, cultivating a high-performance culture that embraces change and encourages professional growth

Required

3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or related experience in a regulated industry
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role (this includes managing team assignments, tracking status, and developing a team's talent)
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
3+ years of experience reporting performance metrics
Ability to travel between sites

Preferred

Familiarity with the Boeing quality management system, quality handbook, AS9100
Experience using various problem-solving methods and critical thinking skills
Demonstrated ability to navigate conflicts and build partnerships with suppliers, teams, and internal stakeholders
