Responsibilities

Assist in developing and enhancing automation tools (Python, VB scripts, etc.) based on PSS/E, TSAT, and/or PSCAD
Analyze system performance data and contribute to improvement of reliability and efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and client engagements
Participate in site visits, data collection, and commissioning activities as needed
Stay current with industry trends, standards, and technologies in power systems and energy automation

Required

Currently pursuing master's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, or a related field
Understanding of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and protection
Strong Python programming skill for data analysis or tool customization
Familiarity with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Power World, PSSE , MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, PSCAD)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
