They are seeking an Outside Territory Account Manager to develop new business and manage existing accounts within the Western Territory, focusing on the Industrial, Medical, and Defense markets.

Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Midwest in the Industrial, Medical and/or Defense markets
Maintain and enhance existing customers in the assigned territory
Develop strong relationships with manufacturer’s representatives and factory contacts within the defined region
Collaborate with marketing and product management to promote CDM’s products and services
Ensure customer data and records are kept current and accurate in internal databases
Prepare and submit timely expense reports, call reports, and other assigned projects
Keep management and internal teams informed of relevant customer and sales activity
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the Industrial, Medical or Defense Manufacturing Industry
Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience selling distribution products
Minimum of 3 years of CRM system usage
Clean driving record and ability to travel throughout the United States
Designated home office space required
3 to 5 years of experience with connectors, wire, or value-added assemblies is required
Self-starter with strong motivation and teamwork orientation
Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams
Willingness to travel: 50% (Required)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field preferred but not required
