Explains billing procedures to the public, contacts the public and mails documents to obtain additional information
Processes medical billings and provides information regarding payment options
Reviews, codes and updates account information
Collects fees and posts to accounts
Processes forms and issues receipts and documents
Calculates figures and totals and maintains records and files
Performs related work
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or the equivalent
Two (2) years of accounting, bookkeeping, banking or billing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
