Responsibilities

Airframe Assembly & Repair: Perform assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks to support airframe overhauls, modifications, and system updates, including removal, replacement, and restoration of components across engines, airframes, and integrated systems
Maintenance Support & Collaboration: Assist licensed A&P mechanics with aircraft maintenance activities, including equipment setup, teardown, and coordinated repair tasks to ensure efficient workflow
Precision Tooling & System Adjustment: Use specialized tools such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, and other precision instruments to inspect, repair, or modify avionics and mechanical systems
Aircraft Movement & Safety Handling: Tow, maneuver, and position aircraft safely during maintenance operations to support inspection, repair, and production activities
Component Cleaning & Preparation: Clean, prepare, and reinstall aircraft parts and components to support accurate reassembly and ensure systems meet quality and performance standards
Service Center Operational Support: Support day‑to‑day service center functions by assisting with tasks that keep maintenance operations running smoothly and aligned with customer needs

Qualification

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
A&P License is required
In lieu of A&P license must have DD214 form to be reviewed and eligible for company-sponsored technical certification and future license achievement
AND must have hours of On-the-Job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by FSDO
Knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, jet and piston airframe and engine principals, and use of arithmetic and blueprints is required
Experience on mechanical repair of vehicles, preferably aircraft –through technical training, apprenticeship, schooling, or similar experience is helpful
