Industrial Project Manager/Estimator

Responsibilities
Hold overall responsibility for assigned projects while balancing a wide portfolio of industrial projects at once
Utilize the latest technology to find efficiencies in estimating, communication, document control, and quality
Maintain up-to-date project schedules and coordinate closely with onsite Client Representatives and construction superintendents to deliver superior results
Prepare and review estimates, manage project budgets, and oversee procurement, accounts receivable, cash flow, forecasting, contingency, and profitability
Effectively manage project scope changes, change orders, and buyouts
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to provide budgetary estimates and/or detailed hard-bid quotes to meet client construction needs for projects up to $1MM
Highly effective communication and collaboration with the Operations Team will be essential for success in a multi-project environment
Develop, foster, and administer strategic relationship initiatives with Industrial Clients, Design Partners, Subcontracting Partners, and Vendors
Serve as the face of the client relationship and the main point of contact, ensuring responsiveness and consistent delivery across a wide portfolio of fast-paced projects
Resolve field construction problems in coordination with onsite agencies
Attend progress meetings, develop status reports, and make recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with BIM and all RCC documentation requirements
Manage claims, mitigate impacts, and develop workarounds while keeping projects on schedule and budget
Drive continuous estimating accuracy and project controls discipline while maintaining RCC’s safety standards
Qualification
Required
Experience in leading construction efforts for industrial clients
Ability to manage multiple small to mid-sized projects simultaneously
Strong focus on estimating accuracy and cost controls
Hands-on project management skills
Ability to maintain a thorough understanding of overall workload
Ability to recognize and act upon priority tasks without supervision
Experience in delegating tasks and supervising project teams
Ability to foster client relationships and develop leads and opportunities
Ability to apply discipline to contribute to a highly functioning team dynamic
Ability to work collaboratively with other Project Managers and departments
Ability to utilize the latest technology for estimating, communication, document control, and quality
Experience in preparing and reviewing estimates and managing project budgets
Ability to manage project scope changes, change orders, and buyouts
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to develop, foster, and administer strategic relationship initiatives
Experience in resolving field construction problems
Ability to ensure compliance with BIM and documentation requirements
