IC&E Technician RNG

The Instrumentation Controls and Electrical (IC&E) Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all instruments, control systems, and electrical equipment in the Renewable Natural Gas process, ensuring operational reliability and safety compliance.

Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance duties on all major equipment and systems as well as emergency backup systems
Maintain complete equipment files, logs, and drawings for all designated equipment
Assist in operational and mechanical support as needed
Assist in maintaining and controlling spare parts inventory to maintain plant reliability. Assist in physical inventories
Conduct instrument calibration as scheduled/required
Maintain all plant instrumentation and electrical equipment
Inspect repair, install and remove all types of motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, and storage batteries, and work with electrical systems up to and including 480 volts
Conduct troubleshooting and analysis on DCS, PLC and turbine control equipment
Fully support and participate in the NAES Safety and Regulatory Compliance Programs
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Area Manager
Qualification
Required
Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired in four years of high school
Proven track record of successful work experience at a Technician level or in a similar role with increasing responsibility in a related industry demonstrating proficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems
Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required
Must be able to work from blueprints and be skilled in the use of hand and power driven tools
Outstanding organizational abilities and proficient computer skills are necessary
Proficiency in personal computer usage is essential
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Preferred
Graduation from an accredited Instrument Technician Program is a plus
Experience in working with voltages up to 480 volts highly desirable
Ability to work well with others and be self-directed, as well as apply creative solutions to unique IC&E problems is desirable
Calibration - Instrumentation and Equipment: Intermediate
Electrical Safety and Hazard Awareness: Intermediate
IC&E - Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical: Intermediate
PLC - Programmable Logic Controller: Intermediate
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Intermediate
Associates or better in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field
Four years work experience as a technician with increasing responsibility in a related industry
