TurnPoint Services is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering and analyzing financial data, managing the monthly close cycle, and providing support to senior management with financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Help conduct and coordinate the monthly financial close, including bank and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial statement accuracy

Post monthly journal entries, expense accruals and prepaid relief entries

Create and send job invoices for all departments

Request, prepare and submit job lien waivers

Monitor accounts receivable aging, working with business leaders to proactively pursue overdue accounts

Process weekly payroll

Compile and analyze financial information

Monitor and ensure that financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures are being followed

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

3-5 years of accounting experience in an accounting role

Intermediate skills in MS Excel

Ability to work closely with a senior management team

Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and detail oriented

Excellent attendance and work record

Highly motivated and professional

Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Outlook, Word)
